Clarification: while using the rule of one minute, the number of square areas is estimated according to the ERA of the head. So, you will not estimate the target tissue area. But you will estimate how the target tissue is based on the size of the head's ERA. For example, the head's ERA of 4 cm2 will cover a target tissue with an area of 16 cm2. So, the number of square areas will be 16/4= 4. Another example, the head's ERA of 8 cm2 will cover a target tissue with an area of 16 cm2.
