My Puppet’s Head Fell Off… So My HAND Kept Singing!

My singing puppet Diva literally LOST HER HEAD during my comedy show… so my HAND had to take over the vocals! 😂 This was a real, completely unscripted mishap that turned into a comedy routine I couldn’t have planned if I tried. With Diva’s head dangling behind her and my hand sticking out of her neck, I did what any slightly panicked ventriloquist would do: I kept the song going! There was just one problem—I couldn’t stop laughing! And believe me, keeping your lips still becomes a whole lot harder when you can barely keep a straight face. 🤣 After my introduction from magician Christopher James, our guitar player, “Apple Jack,” was laughing so hard that he started taking pictures of my hand sticking out of Diva’s body! The audience joined in, laughing through tears as we all tried to get through this accidental comedy bit together. Live entertainment always comes with a few surprises, but this was a little more “audience participation” from my own hand than I expected!
