A Cozy Pivot: Moving Away from Yarn Overconsumption (and What Comes Next)

Lately, I’ve been seeing more and more conversations around overconsumption in the crafting and yarn community and honestly, it’s something I’ve been thinking about for a long time. I’ve talked about this before, and I’ll link that earlier video if you’d like to watch it, but today I wanted to sit down and explain why you may be noticing a gentle shift in my content lately. This channel has never been about buying all the yarn or keeping up with every trend. It’s always been about the why behind making: the comfort, the creativity, and the connection we find in our hobbies. And for me, that means slowing down, being more intentional, and creating from a place that feels cozy instead of overwhelming. If you’ve ever felt pressure to keep buying yarn, to keep up with hauls, or to feel “behind” in your hobby, this video is for you. It’s about balance and finding joy where you already are.
