Barkbusters BHG-046-04-NP | NC750X DCT | Custom Installation

Barkbusters is the first upgrade installed on my own on my 2025 Honda NC750X DCT, chosen for added wind and drop protection. Disclaimer: This video shows a non-standard, custom installation of the Barkbusters kit (INS-BHG-046-04-NP). The OEM internal handlebar weights were retained, requiring custom modifications and additional non-standard hardware not included in the standard package. Deviating from the manufacturer's official instructions may lead to an unsafe installation, vehicle damage, or personal injury. Proceed at your own risk. I opted to do this custom setup to preserve the factory inner bar weights, which serve as primary vibration dampers. Standard kit instructions advise removing the original inserts, but I consider retaining them superior to using the replacements provided in the package. The custom aluminium sleeves are essential to ensure proper throttle clearance. The M6 x 80 mm Allen bolts provide the extra length required by the added bar-end components. Removing the factory bar-end bolts was extremely difficult due to threadlocker, but the dealership kindly loosened them for me.
