And another 1cc. This time at a really hard game. I already done it once many years ago on Mame, but the input file was corrupted, so I could never record it. As you have seen, lately I'm on a roll with shmups, so I had to do this on an official release (Steam). Funny story about this whole thing. Along last weekend I actually completed all 5 stages with one credit like three times... the problem was that every one of those clears, I was unintentionally unlocking secret final boss Taisabachi, which of course, is really hard and I had to use more credits to clear, killing my 1cc attempts. I went to HardcoreGaming101 to find out what the hell I was doing to unlock Taisabachi. Turns out you face Taisabachi if you kill at least 2 bosses with the RED gauge at maximum. That's why you see me using Hyper at Boss 1 mid point and stalling at Boss 2 final phase to cool down the gauge. By the way, the run could have been a lot better if I hadn't enter hidden route on Stages 3 and 4, since I don't usually face those bosses so often. Another fact in case somebody doesn't know: if you have your bomb slots full and you pick up another bomb, you'll unlock an additional slot for the rest of your lives. That's why I intentionally died at the end of Stage 3. I might try to get a 1cc with Taisabachi included, but it's a really hard boss and I would probably need to reach that point almost at a perfect run pace with all lives. I don't think I'll be able to do it. Either way, thanks for watching.
