old warrior cats stuff ‧✦

[All of this was made somewhere between 2020 and 2022, and it's about half of everything I tried to animate. The rest of it is so abstract and sketchy that no one but me would understand it] I think this video is my little bye-bye to canon Warrior Cats. Tbh, I've never really been interested in the Warrior Cats series or its characters. I wanted to create animations with cats, but my desire to animate was never enough to actually finish anything big related to canon cats. The last straw was when even MAP parts with Warrior Cats that were only a few seconds long became a challenge for me. On the shore, after killing his brother, he decides to become the next leader and repeats what his father once did. 🔥 0:50 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝 - 𝐂𝐀𝐙𝐙𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄 What if, instead of Yellowfang, Brambleclaw finds the sister and is the one who decides to take the kits, as always, without caring about Squirrelflight’s opinion? Squirrelflight never wanted to become the mother of the three, so she avoids them in every possible way, which is especially frustrating for Hollypaw. In the fire scene, when Ashfur threatens Squirrelflight and says he’ll kill her kits, she laughs in his face and tells him the whole truth that she had been forced to hide. Lionblaze demands answers from Brambleclaw, Jayfeather goes to Leafpool, and Hollyleaf is about to meet her “mother.” When she gets to the shore, she holds back her anger and goes out to talk. Hollyleaf asks if Squirrelflight ever loved her and whether their family was ever even a little bit real. But after receiving only negative answers, she breaks down, unsheathes her claws, and attacks. Their fight is interrupted by Brambleclaw, but while Squirrelflight is distracted, Hollyleaf rushes at her again. Squirrelflight, however, is no longer going to resist. She’s tired of all of this. In the last scene, Hollyleaf clings to her mother, her paw frozen with her claws extended, but she’s unable to finish what she started. [I don’t know what was going through my head when I came up with this animatic. I don’t really like it anymore, mainly because I failed to convey that Squirrelflight was just as much a victim of the situation as everyone else.
