Kiki's Various Adaptations

Kiki's Delivery Service was first a book written in 1985 by Eiko Kadono. More famously it was adapted as an anime film directed by Hayao Miyazaki in 1989. It was then translated into English in 1990 by Streamline. Then in 1998 Disney made a new translation which took more than a few liberties. Thankfully it was fixed in their later 2013 dub. In this video I will go over the changes the film made from the book, and then the drastic changes Disney made when translating it in 1998.
