Sony J30SDI Betacam - E20-3115 error repair

So a fun one this week - I finally managed to buy a Sony Betacam J30SDI. Why? Because it's a compact player that plays many formats of Betacam recorded in both PAL and NTSC and it has Firewire! It was supposed to be a demo video but quickly became a repair video when it got damaged in transit through poor packing. I do also have a DVW-A500 recorder too which has been through the wars in transit to me and now has error codes (I did get it working a few years ago!) so that machine will be appearing in a future video. I will be doing a video in the future on this machine and using it to archive using Firewire on a Windows 10 machine. It truly is a beautiful piece of engineering. Can anyone shed any light on getting service information for this deck? I believe Sony had gone to online service data only by the time this deck was released.
