The Buford may forever be the best Musky pattern of all time, thanks to Mr. Brad Bohen. The big deer hair bulk head pushes a ton of water, and the big bucktail body creates mass but keeps it light weight. The hair, feather and flash strategy is all you need in a good musky fly. In this pattern we call Patches, we take all the Bufford principles and add a few additions including Blane Chockletts body tubing, and a single center hook to keep this fly super light but large.
