Two Teardrops In The Falls

Sunset, the shadows dance in fading Sun and dance with fairies One last time Fairies that sit upon the flowers Waiting for the sunset To fade away Fading, to come and bring the darkness Promised of deliverance He'll come back next day I walk alone at times at sunset A walk through darkened landscapes Remind me of myself I want to gaze out on the flowers Who hold onto the bright lights I can barely see In a field by the factory Dead things there to greet me The sun's gone away Over sunlit sky there is a mountain standing far Far beyond the roaring forest waterfall Stop and look at beasts and things The creatures stop to rest Sit awhile in solitude, on a crest Open up and call my name when people try to push The blame that comes with everything It never was your fault I'll be home in time for you to come and bring the life Come and bring the beauty back As beauty steps in you I'm still waiting for the sun to come back up again But we're both here, the sun will come and warm us both again
