PRAY THIS Daily | October 2026 Be Still and Place the Rest in God's Hands Today

Be still. A reflection and a prayer for the anxious heart, from the Gospel of Mark (4:35-41). A fierce wind comes up on the Sea of Galilee. The boat is filling, and Jesus is asleep on a cushion. His friends wake Him: "Teacher, do You not care that we are going to die?" He speaks to the wind and to the sea, "Peace. Be still," and there is a great calm. Be still does not mean do nothing. Do today's part, and place the rest in God's hands. Be still, and know that He is God. The video ends with a prayer to place it all in His hands.
