🔴 Formal Charge || Chemical Bonding 🔴 Chemistry for Class 11 in HINDI HD

In this Chemistry video in Hindi we explained formal charge in atoms in a molecule or ion. We also gave a trick to find out the formal charges. This topic is from Chapter 4 - 'Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure'. Sometimes an atom donates an electron to its neighbouring atom to fulfill the octets of both of them. The donating atom gets +1 formal charge and the receiving atom get 1 charge. In this video we considered examples of ozone molecule and NO2 as well as NH4+ ions. We also found that the sum of the formal charges in a molecule or ion is equal to the net charge on the same.
