VEL | Techno DJ Set | SECTION. | October 2026

SECTION. presents VEL from Paris. VEL grew up in Rabat with a first guitar at seven and her older brothers' cassettes for company: Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Pink Floyd, The Doors. Techno came later, in Lyon, where she had moved at 18 to study engineering and where a night at Le Sucre changed the plan. The club went on to make her a resident, and she eventually left engineering behind to make music full time. Her debut album, There Is Always A Solution, arrived on Anetha's Mama Told Ya in 2024, its title taken from her father's advice. In 2025 she launched her own label, PURR, built around texture, bass and resonance, and used it to release Cuddle Protocol, an ambient album that goes back to her first love. In the club, those threads meet. Fast, rolling rhythms with tribal and trance edges sit against fragile voices and moments of air, heavy percussion always doing the talking. Power and grace in the same breath - VEL brings her percussive techno to SECTION. 🔔 Like, Subscribe & Follow SECTION. on socials for more: Instagram:   / section_hq   TikTok:   / section_hq   Web: https://sectionhq.com/ Like what you see?
