This week Schony747 is at Albury New South Wales to witness a bit of history as former Victorian Railways Steam Locomotive R766 makes it's first visit on the mainline south in New South Wales on Standard Gauge. All R Class Steam Locomotives ran on broad gauge in the Victorian Railways era. It's an engineering marvel that the locomotive could be gauge converted from broad gauge to standard gauge. It now runs around New South Wales running heritage passenger trains on the standard gauge. This video features views around Albury in New South Wales.
