Hackers took 6.3 billion dollars from Binance, by Binance's own count the biggest crypto theft ever, and Binance says its users will pay nothing. Its famous SAFU emergency fund is worth a bit over 1 billion. So who actually pays for the rest? We turn the robbery inside out: how most of the money left in about 20 minutes, the one tiny word in the fund's rules, where the other 5 billion is supposed to come from, what happened to customers at Bybit, Coincheck, WazirX and Mt. Gox, and who the crypto trackers point to. Before the reveal at 3:59: how much of the 6.3 billion can the fund cover? Everything in this video is as of October 31, 2026. When Binance reopens withdrawals and publishes its next reserve report, we'll post the new numbers in the pinned comment.
