Weaving Mill and Sacred Music, Poland Tour

Today we go to Żyrardów, a post-industrial town 50 km west of Warsaw. It is world-renowned as Europe's only completely preserved 19th-century industrial urban complex. We visit a factory-museum which, in the 19th century, was the largest and most modern linen factory in Europe. Later in the day, we go to the church 'Our Lady of Consolation' in the town centre and listen to a concert of early music, under the direction of Bartosz Izbicki
