From his groundbreaking work with The Smiths to his collaborations, solo records and unforgettable guitar parts, Johnny has shaped the sound of generations. His collection tells that story through the guitars themselves — instruments that have been played, toured, recorded and lived with. Johnny Marr’s guitars are a perfect example. Each one represents a particular moment, recording, performance or musical collaboration. Being able to experience them in person — and hear them through an amplifier — makes that history feel immediate. This visit was also a milestone for our own collection. We returned from London with two of Johnny’s Fender Jaguars and an amplifier with a remarkable connection to both Johnny Marr and Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones.
