Minimal & Groovy House | Practice Mix 003

New practice mix exploring minimal and groovy house! I recently started buying music instead of streaming through Spotify in rekordbox, and I’m so stoked about the switch! I recorded this mix while exploring and preparing new tracks. I’ve got around 1,000 tracks to work through and organise into playlists, so there’s plenty of music to get to know. It also feels more rewarding to prepare the tracks now that I own the music and know that my hot cues and playlists will be permanent. There’s something satisfying about building a library and workflow that I can keep developing over time. Playing with locally stored music has already made a big difference for me. Tracks load instantly, and I can record directly in rekordbox instead of using Audacity. It feels like a big upgrade and has been well worth it so far. Let me know your favourite parts! And if you have any tips on how I can improve or what I should focus on next, I’d really appreciate the feedback. Thanks for listening!
