I know it's probably obvious but I barely know the first thing about haircuts LOL I just love the scissor sounds and the combs etc. :) it's been a few weeks, it's seriously flown by, since i recorded this video, my sister came to visit me in tokyo! we stayed in an airbnb and i showed her around, we walked almost 20,000 steps every day! then my phone broke in a typhoon, i had to keep it turned off on a silica moisture absorption pack for days, then got it repaired at some dodgy repair shop, i was panicking because all my asmr videos are on that phone.I also can't get iCloud storage in japan without a japanese bank account ._. because the app store doesn't accept my foreign one, so it was a real struggle. i barely had time to study with my sister here, i had an amazing time but dang, i was a translator, a tour guide, i did all the google maps stuff and ended up spending more than i intended. We got back so late every night that I only had about half an hour to edit before falling asleep. the day after she went to the airport was my first day back at language school, so i've been struggling a bit with timing. Also my new class is SO hard!! we're doing N3 content for the next few months, the pace of my class feels very fast. I have some amazing teachers this semester. Having to memorise words like 'international trading port' 貿易港 and 'the southernmost tip' 最南端 and then this '倉庫会' still don't really understand this one. we're also challenged to read blocks of texts with no furigana in front of the class, to see how well we've memorised the kanji words. Last week, I was getting a coffee before class and the barista always waves at me when I go in! I was wearing a fat scarf in 23 degree heat with sunshine, and she was like 'Are you cold'? and I just admitted that I didn't realise it was so hot and didn't have time to take it off, and that if anyone asks it's for fashion purposes. We had a good laugh and I learned her name! :) She is really kind to the customers and has a radiant energy, I hope we can become friends! I was supposed to upload this earlier but I fell asleep and woke up really disoriented like just now, do you guys ever get that? I dreamt too, that I was in this alternate version of Japan. There weren't many people and I was in this random town, didn't know where I was. There were people acting very strange around me doing erratic things, I felt very vulnerable and kept losing track my friends.
