Why I picked the Yamaha MT09 over the Yamaha R1/ A motorcycle story

So Feb 21st 2024 happened and we went from owning a Yamaha R6 to no longer being the owner of that specific motorcycle. So the question presented itself to me which motorcycle do I plan to purchase next?
