The idea is simple: use these Max for Live devices as a starting point for creative sound design and experimentation. Map synth parameters through the Custom tab in MDD Snake to introduce randomization. Generate new patterns, explore unexpected sound artifacts, and discover unique textures through experimentation. In this tutorial, I use a 7/16 polymetric sequence that continuously shifts against the main 4/4 kick rhythm, creating evolving rhythmic movement and a hypnotic feel. The effects and processing chain aren't the main focus of this video. How you process the sound is entirely up to your creativity and personal taste.
