Aloha Everyone.. My mom makes a simple Japanese style pork belly. You can make it too. You can save money by making your own and I promise you that it is delicious. You can freeze it for later use, you can slice it and put it on ramen, place on top of your rice and make chashu bowl...or just eat it like that... yum yum
recipe:
Pork Belly
water 150cc
Mirin 100 cc
Shoyu 200 cc
Garlic 2 cloves (grate)
green onion
Ginger 1 small piece (grate)
fry pork belly (no oil needed) until crispy and thoroughly cooked
prepare the water, mirin, shoyu, garlic, ginger and green onion in pot
wipe off excess oil off pork and put in sauce.
Cook on medium for 20 minutes
slice thinly
that's it.. eat it however you want.. you can freeze it too..
