500+ KM’S to Catch an ENDANGERED Trout! | Days 3–8 Camping & Fishing

Come along with me as I drive over 500 km (310+ miles) up north for an 8-day adventure to try and catch a once ENDANGERED trout — the Aurora Trout. From pushing my car to its limits on old, rough logging roads, to spending hours out on my paddle board trolling, jigging, and searching for fish, this trip definitely didn’t go exactly as planned. Despite putting in countless hours of fishing and having nothing to show for it, I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. The quiet mornings, being out on the water, exploring the wilderness, picking fresh raspberries, and simply getting away from everything made every second worth it.
