BUILDING A DIGITAL MEMORIAL. 🕊️🏁 Go behind the creation of my Norman P. Peralta Memorial Civic inside Gran Turismo 7. This video follows the tribute car through garage views, rotating presentation shots, driving sequences, additional decal work—including the TMR-inspired graphic—and the completed GT7 showcase presentation. Rather than attempting an exact replica, I reimagined the spirit of Norman’s iconic Honda Civic as an aggressive contemporary RCR/Pandem-style widebody GT7 Civic hatchback. The goal was to preserve recognizable elements of the original car’s visual identity while showing what that inspiration could become through modern digital automotive design. 🕊️ FULLBLOWN ANGEL TRIBUTE In Loving Memory of Norman P. Peralta Nov. 25, 1976 – Sept. 26, 1997 Norman’s Civic belongs to an important chapter of the Southern California import-racing movement. After Norman passed away, his brother Kevin Peralta and those associated with the project continued developing Norman’s turbo Civic. Historical records from the era document a remarkable performance: 10.86 seconds @ 118 mph The car qualified #1 and earned the Top Honda category at the 1997 Battle of the Imports Finals. But the reason this car continues to matter goes beyond its performance. Behind the Honda was a person. Behind the performance was a family. Behind the legend were friendships and memories that have survived for nearly three decades. This project honors Norman first and the automobile second. 🙏 May God bless Norman, Norman Jr., Kevin, the entire Peralta family and all the friends, racers and people who continue to remember him. 🎮 REIMAGINING THE CIVIC IN GRAN TURISMO 7 GT7 gives artists and automotive enthusiasts an extraordinary digital canvas. I used that canvas to imagine a contemporary interpretation of Norman’s Civic while maintaining visual references to its legendary red-and-silver presentation. This includes custom graphics, sponsor-inspired elements, tribute lettering and additional details developed through the Gran Turismo 7 Livery Editor.
