Mai'a Ele Ele and other Hawaiian bananas, Kauai

From a corm weevil riddled keiki the size of a tennis ball, high in the bush from flood wash, two starts emerged and have become enormous bananas in size, fruit and shoots. I also explore some thoughts about damaged banana trunks and cherish an Iholena flower bud. Aloha!
