Ink Before the Dawn | PG Songs

Ink Before the Dawn From Before the Light Listen and read the lyrics: https://pgsongs.com/before-the-light/... There's a book that has no edges Older than the first of days And a hand had already written Long before the world's first blaze No paper had been folded No morning had begun But the ink was dry already On a name beneath the sun that hadn't burned My name was there in the ledger Before the ledger had a page Before the dark was scattered Before the dawn, before an age Not added in the margins Not penciled in to fade The Lamb had signed the entry In a book that grace had made And no one rewrites the writing No eraser finds the line What love put down in the silence Stays as steady as the time So I don't earn the entry And I cannot get it crossed The name that grace recorded Is a name that won't be lost My name was there in the ledger Before the ledger had a page Before the dark was scattered Before the dawn, before an age Not added in the margins Not penciled in to fade The Lamb had signed the entry In a book that grace had made Slain from the foundation The blood was on the word Before a wrong was written The pardon had been heard My name is there in the ledger On a still unfolded page Before the dark was scattered Before the dawn, before an age Not added in the margins Not penciled in to fade The Lamb has signed the entry In a book that grace has made
