Seaford Beach Social Meet

What happens when anglers, fishing communities and organisations from across the South Coast come together for a day on the beach? Our latest Tide Together Competitions social meet-up took us to Seaford Beach, where anglers of all abilities came together for an afternoon of fishing, meeting old friends, making new ones and, importantly, giving something back to the beach we were enjoying. Meeting opposite Frankie’s Cafe at midday, the day included a beach clean before everyone settled in for an afternoon of fishing from 2pm through to high water. We were joined by a fantastic mix of people and organisations, including The Shore Hunter, Angling Trust Team England U21, Reel Minds, ReAP, ANLRS, The Eastbourne Fishermen and Rehoming Rods, along with plenty of other members of the TTC community. There was plenty going on throughout the day, from rig and bait preparation to casting, fishing, catches and returns, with plenty of chat and laughs along the way. And, of course, it wouldn't be a TTC event without a few cameras around! Join us for a look back at what made this Seaford meet-up such a great example of what the sea angling community is all about.
