Content Notice:
Some visuals may appear graphic; however, all injuries, clinical findings, and procedures shown are fully simulated on an adult manikin within a controlled training environment. No real patient care was performed.
This video continues the raw bodycam perspective of a high-fidelity multidisciplinary polytrauma simulation progressing into advanced airway management and traumatic cardiac arrest resuscitation. The scenario was intentionally designed to demonstrate a systematic, team-based approach to a non-viable trauma case within a structured educational framework.
Part 2 illustrates the advanced clinical phase, including airway escalation, Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI), ventilator setup, resuscitation management, application of H’s and T’s, LUCAS device deployment, ongoing team communication, and clinically reasoned termination and declaration on scene. The unedited format preserves the authenticity of real-time teamwork, cognitive load, procedural difficulty, and communication dynamics encountered during complex simulations.
The multidisciplinary team consisted of qualified healthcare professionals from diverse international backgrounds, including a Simulation Designer with postgraduate training in Clinical Simulation, China- and Cuba-trained Medical Doctors (including DipPEC [SA]), South African-trained Advanced Life Support Paramedics, and Austrian-trained Advanced Life Support Paramedics. This was a collaborative simulation aimed at demonstrating realistic team integration and coordinated emergency care to aspiring medical professionals.
This footage is shared strictly for educational and reflective purposes to provide an honest and factual insight into emergency medicine practice, team dynamics, and simulation-based learning. It is not intended to represent real patient care, official protocols, accredited training, or operational standards of any emergency medical service, fire service, healthcare institution, or employer.
Nothing depicted in this video should be interpreted as clinical instruction, policy guidance, or a substitute for formal training, professional governance, or clinical judgement. All procedures and demonstrations occurred within a supervised, non-operational simulation environment and were conducted solely for educational demonstration.
We gratefully acknowledge and thank all participating professionals, staff, role players, supporting organisations, and facilities for their time, expertise, and contribution to advancing educational exposure for aspiring medical professionals.
