Gear Muckabout - Fender Precision, Gallien Krueger MB500 Fusion, Barefaced Super Compact

Hi all! Thought I'd take some time to play some gear for you. Fender American vintage 63 Precision Bass LaBella flat wound strings https://amzn.to/2JYGtx2 Gallien Krueger MB500 Fusion Barefaced Super Compact I recorded a few playing examples and switched between some different mics Behringer C-1 Pyle PDMIC78 JTS NX-2 All into an Alesis i04 interface There was no processing of the audio. I adjusted the volumes to be roughly the same. The volume and tone on the Bass are at maximum. The settings on the amp are flat. For the overdrive on example 4, I used channel 2 on the amp with the gain at about 2 O'clock. I seriously recommend checking out the Barefaced Super Compact. It's super light weight and sounds great. They are a joy to mic up too, in this video I just put the pics up with no thought to positioning and in my opinion, they are all useable sounds even with these cheaper mics. With a bit of mixing they'd be great. Subscribe if you like :) If you'd like to support my channel please go to   / jameseymaxted
