This large block, with a quite unusual architecture for a Soviet-era building, has four elevators in two entrances. Both entrances have the same layout: 1 original elevator and 1 replaced elevator. For a late 1970s elevator, this one is holding up "quite well" compared to other Soviet elevators from that era. The replaced elevator has nothing special, it's the bog-standard design that is used for all recent replacements in Soviet buildings in Armenia. ========= Technical information ========= Manufacturer: MLZ / Moguilevliftmash (replacement) Model: unknown Type: traction, two speed motor (original) / VF (replacement) Capacity: 400 kg / 5 persons Installed in the late 1970s, replaced in 2024 Floors served: 12 Speed: 1 m/s Location: 34 Tsaturyan street, Yerevan, Armenia © The French Elevator Channel
