Lepchajagat | Darjeeling Offbeat | Kurseong Dowhill Forest | কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা দর্শন | View Point | Day 5

In the final episode of our North Bengal travel series, we check out from our Darjeeling hotel and begin a memorable journey toward Kurseong and Lepchajagat. Our first stop is the mysterious Dowhill Pine Forest in Kurseong – famous for its haunting beauty. We explored the Dowhill Church, the Dowhill School, the so-called Haunted House, and of course, the dense pine forest that gave us a spine-chilling yet thrilling experience. From there, we headed straight to Lepchajagat and checked in at the cozy Laligurash Homestay. After a hearty lunch, we visited the Lepchajagat View Point. Although covered in thick fog, the calm, misty vibe felt magical as we stood embraced by nature. Back at our homestay, we enjoyed a lovely evening with bonfire, barbeque, and warm laughter under the mountain sky – the perfect way to spend our last night in the hills. The next morning, nature gifted us an unforgettable surprise – a clear view of the majestic Kanchenjunga. It was the perfect farewell to the mountains. After breakfast, we started our return journey to NJP with some final sightseeing: 📍 Simana View Point 📍 Pine Forest 📍 Pashupati Phatak 📍 Gopaldhara Tea Estate 📍 Tingling View Point This trip gave us beautiful memories to cherish forever.
