WAVIT Wave of Influence UpNotch Platform Demo Introduction

This meeting was a webinar demonstration of the UpNotch mentorship platform for WAVIT's mentorship program. Tamara from UpNotch team provided a comprehensive walkthrough of the platform's features, including how to create profiles as mentors or mentees, navigate the system, find matching mentors using AI or advanced search filters, and schedule virtual sessions through Zoom or Teams. E. Williams and Brandy explained how WAVIT's specific implementation would be organic and flexible, allowing participants to build their own personal board of advisors rather than following rigid structures. The session covered technical details like setting up personal goals, logging in-person sessions, and managing privacy settings, with specific guidance for Teams integration and troubleshooting common issues. Participants were informed about the recorded session being made available on both WAVIT and UpNotch platforms, and were encouraged to reach out to the presenters or UpNotch support for any technical questions.
