Until They Seek My Face
Official Release
The lights grew dim.
The voices faded.
And the silence became impossible to ignore.
“Until They Seek My Face” continues this acoustic musical journey through the Book of Hosea, bringing Scripture to life through heartfelt melodies, intimate storytelling and an honest reflection on the consequences of turning away from God.
Inspired by Hosea chapter 5, this song explores the consequences of hearts that have drifted far from God. As pride, rebellion and self-reliance deepen the divide the longing for restoration remains. Through reflective acoustic instrumentation, emotional vocals and thoughtful lyricism, “Until They Seek My Face” captures the tension between separation and the hope of return.
Even in judgment, there is an invitation. Even in silence, there is a call. The story is not over it is waiting for hearts to turn back and seek the One they have forgotten.
🎸 Acoustic storytelling through Scripture.
📖 Biblical storytelling rooted in the Word of God.

Lyrics:
Verse 1
Hear this, O priests, and listen close to the sound
The house of the king is standing on shaking ground
A snare has been set on Mizpah out in the clay
A net has been spread where the
wanderers lose their way
The pride of the nation is testifying to their face
Stumbling in guilt, completely losing their grace
They go with their flocks to search for a holy spark
But they walk through the ruins, blind in the heavy dark
The covenant is empty, they have dealt with a faithless hand
And the shadow of the judgment is falling across the land…
Chorus
So I will go… and return to my quiet place.
I will step back… into the shadow of space.
Until they acknowledge the offense they have made.
Until the illusions completely wither and fade.
In their affliction, when the midnight starts to burn…
They will seek me early, praying for my return.
Verse 2
Blow the cornet in Gibeah, let the trumpet sound loud
The warning is falling over the rich and the proud
Ephraim is desolate, a shadow of what has been
Reaping the harvest of their deep and hidden sin
They ran to the empires, looking for a healing hand
But a stranger cannot cure the sickness of the land.
The withdrawal is heavy! The silence is long!
Waiting in the dark for the return of the song!
The heart of the Maker is waiting behind the door!
So I will go… and return to my quiet place.
I will step back… into the shadow of space.
In their affliction.
They will seek me early.
Until they seek my face.
