Sensei Karin Prinsloo is a sixth dan registered with the Japanese Karate Association(JKA). She was a member of the South African All Styles Team from 1992 - 2008 and member of the South African JKA team and ladies open JKA champion for 14 years. Career highlights include Bronze Medal in individual kata at the JKA world championships in Paris 1998, All Africa Games Silver Medalist in 1995, All Africa Games double gold and bronze medalist 1999 (Johannesburg), All Africa Games Gold and 3 silver medals in 2003 (Nigeria), Woman's World Cup Gold Medalist u55 kg 1995 (France), World Games Gold Medalist 2001 (Japan), Commonwealth Karate Championship double Silver (Scotland)
