Markets all across England are sadly dying out, but that ain't the case here in Bury. The world famous Bury market is still going strong! We spent the whole day wandering the narrow alleys here at Bury market and all I can say this is a proper English market at its finest. We met so many sound people and ate all the English classics from the world's best black pudding, to pies, fresh fruit, black peas, old school sweets, lancashire cheese and a good old sausage bacon and egg butty. After a right day out in the market we nipped into Bury town center and I've gotta say it's alright, definitely better than most towns here in North England. The Great English market will never die!
