Razer Orbweaver thumbswitch replacement

It's healing bench time! I love my Razer Orbweaver for MMOs, but the microswitches in the thumbstick module are slowly dying. I did a bit of research around the internet and thought I'd document my repair journey all in one place in case anyone else has the same issue crop up.
