Family Overnight at Acuaverde Beach Resort with Vulkan | Pet-Friendly Resort in Laiya Batangas 2026

Hello guys! Today is the holiday long weekend, April 9–10, 2026. Since it’s another long weekend, that automatically means another family outing for us. We went to our favorite beach destination in Luzon which is Laiya. It was Mama Jay and Gen’s first time in Laiya, so I booked two rooms at Acuaverde Beach Resort. And of course, the main character of our vacation is Vulkan, our eldest Frenchie. Yes, he came with us to the resort because the place is pet-friendly. We left early to avoid traffic because, as usual, long weekends mean heavy traffic on SLEX, we stopped at Caltex Mamplasan for breakfast and for Vulkan’s break. The travel took around 3 hours from Las Piñas to the resort. We arrived around lunchtime, so of course, we ate again right away. In the afternoon, we all went swimming at the beach. It was Vulkan’s second time swimming in the ocean. We honestly couldn’t tell if he was enjoying it or getting stressed, but he was still very makulit and energetic afterward. At night, we had a dinner buffet. The food was great, and we just chilled at the dining area and had coffee after dinner. It’s really a shame that we couldn’t extend our stay because the resort was already fully booked. Our trip felt too short, but there’s always a next time
