Nolichucky Gorge @ 2.6ft | Fall Wonderland, Whitewater Kayaking | (OCT 13th, 2026)

Nolichucky @2.6ft OCT 13th 2026. Most rapids are filmed except for last chance which is the first rapid, this is a good level for intermediate paddlers. Advanced paddlers can spice it up with slicier boats but some of the holes are grabby on those boats. Beautiful fall day not cold and not hot. Colors in the gorge are starting to change! Boat I’m paddling is a waka Billy goat, however this level would have been perfect if I had a half slice. The ending was a surprise from “Mr. Archer” playing the sax at the takeout.
