The largest temples of Egypt and one of the most jaw dropping. Our favourite hotels in Abu Simbel - Seti Hotel Abu Simbel - Good hotel close to the temple, but over priced Nefertari Hotel Abu Simble - Was closed when we went, relatively cheaper, but also the facilities are not as good, but close to the temple. There are other guests houses, but as they are far from the temple, they were not in our list. ----------------------------- ¦ WHITE DESERT ¦ ----------------------------- Places to visit - Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, New and Old White Desert, Caraween Sand Dune, Aqabat Valley There are some eco lodges, but we never bothered saying on them. We went straight into the desert and spend 4 nights in tent. We will strongly recommend that.
