CPR 2860 'Royal Hudson' Class H1e 4-6-4 The 2860 'Royal Hudson' is a Class H1e semi-streamlined steam locomotive that was originally used by the Canadian Pacific Railway and ran in service in British Columbia. This locomotive and tender use over 1,800 genuine LEGO® parts and is motorized using the Power Functions system. The locomotive is meticulously balanced to ensure efficient weight distribution on the driving wheels for maximum pulling performance. Significant use of upside-down and studs-not-on-top techniques were required to encapsulate as many details as possible, especially at the front and sides of the cab. The front pilot truck is even connected with a backwards linkage in order to clear around the pistons when handling R40 geometry. It features an integrated clutch that allows the locomotive to free-wheel for manual repositioning and makes it easy to check the drivetrain for any excess friction. There is easy access for the power button and clutch, plus the power-on LED remains visible during operation. The headlamp and firebox light up with integrated PF lights. There is also a highly detailed cab interior capable of seating up to two minifigures. Extended Cut Submission for 2026 Brick Train Awards Music: "That's The Way" StreamBeats by Harris Heller
