Finishing 100+ KM Through Parque Patagonia | Part 2

After reaching Casa Piedra, we started the second half of our 100+ kilometer hike through Parque Patagonia. Over the next four days, we crossed mountain passes, followed remote lakes and cliff-side trails, found signs of pumas and had an unforgettable encounter with the endangered Huemul deer. The route took us from Casa Piedra through the northern section of Parque Patagonia before finally reaching the park entrance and getting a ride into Cochrane. This was the final chapter of our eight-day journey from the Chile Chico region toward Cochrane — easily the hardest hike I had completed so far, but also one of the most rewarding.
