Welcome to Cheddarbrook! | Foundation Let’s Play — Ep. 1

Welcome to Cheddarbrook! We’re starting a brand-new Foundation let’s play, building a riverside settlement with dreams of a hillside castle and a cozy fantasy village. We get off to a strong start in Episode 1, reaching Town level and finding three promising prospecting nodes: iron, stone, and quartz. With a great location for our industrial district, Cheddarbrook’s future is looking bright! We also try cabbage farming with the Harvest Festival DLC, establish a sheep farm, and surround our growing town with wooden fortifications and two watchtowers. Houses are beginning to upgrade to density level 2, and we reach Common Tier 3 before calling it a day. This is a relaxed, ongoing series—no fixed episode count, just enjoying the game, sharing my thoughts, and seeing where Cheddarbrook takes us. Expect some learning, a few mistakes, and the occasional questionable decision. 🌍 PLAY ALONG Want to build your own settlement on this map?
