For reasons that go beyond my understanding, the Xbox Game Bar told me that the recording failed when I closed the game, when the only thing the software had left to do was to stop the recording and save the file. Fortunately, there are no consequences in this game if the recording fails for the first time beating it, so I just had to go through the hassle of playing it again. For the record, I just spent 5 more minutes in the original gameplay. Here comes the actual description.
It seems that the UED decrypting team is still finding more information from the Dominion Data downloaded from Braxis. Now they have found information about a former Confederate device called "Psi Disrupter", that seems to have some interesting effects on the Zerg communications. According to Lieutenant Duran, this device can interfere with the Zerg communications, disorient them and force them to break their formations. Surprisingly, despite the obvious advantage that such ability could provide, Duran recommended destroying it to "prevent it from falling into Emperor Mengsk's hands". But what is even stranger, it is Admiral DuGalle who agreed with Duran's advice, despite having labeled him as a "traitor" in the briefing of the previous mission. It is Vice Admiral Stukov who protested and argued that throwing away such a strategic device would be senseless. It should have ocurred the other way around to make sense, if you ask me.
According to the report, the Psi Disrupter should be located in a former Confederate research installation on Tarsonis, its former Capitol World, now ruined and infested by the Zerg. The Dominion couldn't track down the device, but the UED has the means and technology to do a more thorough and accurate scanning. Eventually, finding it is just a matter of time. Duran was assigned to secure the device and destroy it when the surroundings are clear of hostiles, but four Zerg Hives are threatening the position. Oddly enough, it seems that these Hives were left behind by the Zerg Broods they belong to. Destroying them would render the Zerg in the area harmless.
Will the UED secure the area and clear the path for Duran to destroy the Psi Disrupter?
See you in the next video!
