Gran Turismo 7 - Bathurst 100 GT7 Edition - 161 Laps around Mt.Panorama! Obviously Im not going to post the full length race to YouTube so here are the highlights! Because the V8 Supercar Bathurst 1000 is on this weekend and being Australian I wanted to give myself a challenge and try and do my own Bathurst 1000. 161 Laps of Mt. Panorama. Before starting I didn’t think I could do it all in one sitting but to my surprise I felt pretty good, it took just over 5 and a half hours of racing. I started the race at around 7pm my time and finished at about 12:30am. I set up a custom race (obviously) with BoP on and Professional level AI for the highest possible challenge. Because the game doesn’t have any V8 Supercars I decided to use Gr.3 cars only and chose the Mustang of course. Fuel and Tyres were set at x1 to make it semi realistic to how long fuel and tyres will last in real life and to not make the race drag on too long with pit stops. The AI were quite slow at the start but as the race progressed they got ridiculously quick and very aggressive with overtakes. By lap 115 I was fed up with how aggressive they were so I decided to fight back. The challenge wasn’t about winning the race is was just about completing the full race distance, the win is just a bonus. Overall a fun challenge and might do more of these in the future.
