A Drive Thru Bremerhaven 1986 to 2023

Dem Originalfilm von Michael Thompson angelehnt, der vor 37 Jahren, im Winter 1986, mit seinem Kumpel durch Bremerhaven fuhr und bis in seine damalige Wohnung filmte (    • A Drive thru Bremerhaven, Germany 1986   ). Leider ist die heutige Bewohnerin dieser Wohnung ziemlich schwer anzutreffen. Ansonsten wäre es sicherlich cool gewesen den Film bis zu diesem Ende zu bringen... deshalb nur bis an die Haustür. Dieser persönliche Abschluß hatte es mir angetan diesen Film zu drehen und habe dadurch einen wirklich netten Kontakt zu einer anderen Bewohnerin des Hauses bekommen. Ich habe diesen Film auch in sehr guter Erinnerung an diese Zeit mit den amerikanischen Soldaten, die damals in und um Bremerhaven stationiert waren, aufgenommen und einigermaßen synchron geschnitten, damit man den direkten Vergleich von damals zu heute hat. Es hat sich doch ziemlich viel verändert, aber einiges ist auch unverändert geblieben. Viel Spaß beim gucken... Unfortunately, the current resident of this apartment is quite difficult to meet. Otherwise it would certainly have been cool to bring the film to this end... so just to the front door. This personal conclusion made me want to make this film and it gave me really nice contact with another resident of the house. I also recorded this film with very fond memories of that time with the American soldiers who were stationed in and around Bremerhaven at the time and edited it somewhat synchronously so that you can have a direct comparison between then and now. Quite a lot has changed, but some things have also remained unchanged. Have fun watching...
