More details and other online exhibits can be viewed here: http://www.retrofair2020.com/ The BBC Micro is a British 6502 based 8-bit home micro computer introduced in 1981 by Acorn Computers Ltd in conjunction with the UK state broadcaster the BBC. Originally called the 'Acorn Proton' the machine was rebranded as 'BBC Micro' with the tie in with the BBC and the British Government of the time, who launched the 'Computer Literacy Project' though the 1980's.
