Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's DMZ mode reviewed by Jarrett Green on PlayStation 5, also available on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. "Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode finally puts the fun and frantic gunplay signature to Call of Duty  into a genre I fancy more than its typical PvP multiplayer. While executing missions, the semi-arcadey running and gunning mixes nicely with the vibrant exploration elements in Hajin and the rapid fire Dynamic Objectives and side ops, creating a delightfully high-tension experience that also doesn’t get too sweaty. All of the other things around it – crafting, gunsmithing, and to a larger extent the almost RPG-like skill trees for individual operators – provide little incentive to engage with them all that rigorously. This may not bode well for DMZ’s staying power as a “service” across the coming year, but in the present, it’s a strong addition to the growing list of worthwhile extraction shooters." #IGN #Gaming #CallOfDuty
