Carving a foam Moai - days 3-6 (eps poly styrene)

The last three days were spent applying several layers... first: a cement slurry which promotes adhesion and fills the small holes, 2 layers of stucco mud, several layers of browns greys and black paint in both thick and thin concistencies. Then 2 coats of clear for protection and more acrylic paint to mute the gloss shine! Whew!
