AL Bowlly Redux: Thanks For Everything

AL Bowlly Redux offers a mélange of AL Bowlly vintage visual media enhanced with hand curated ai inspirations. This video contains recently created ANIMATIONS from existing photos of AL Bowlly. They are distributed throughout the video. AL Bowlly joins Geraldo And His Orchestra in London, 1939 to record a Fox Trot called “Thanks For Everything.” This Gordon and Revel tune is from the film, “Thanks For Everything,” and AL Bowlly delivers a vocal that leaves no doubt that he is indeed grateful. Special thanks to @geoffhunt-ry5dj for providing the audio. Special thanks to @Bowl_Lee for photos used in ai animation. Special thanks to @Famelio for still photos. FOMO? The 1930’s dance band formula for many arrangements emphasizes the band and their strong instrumental passages throughout the piece. The vocal refrain was typically added (almost as an after thought in my opinion) in the middle of the arrangement. The lyric may last 50-60 seconds at best. So, for the modern listener, after 20 seconds with no hint of a vocal rendering at the beginning of the song, it can be a little off putting. All I can say is, have patience and I think you won’t be disappointed. Remember, this music was meant for dancing and this musical era has so much listening pleasure to offer. With that said, there are numerous ai iterations, both stills and animated, throughout the song. Cut out early and you’re sure to miss something you’ve never seen.
