CITY OF GOD (2002) Is A Heartbreaking Masterpiece! - Cidade de Deus - First Time Watching Reaction!

This movie is unlike anything I've ever seen before. It was incredibly bleak and depressing, while simultaneously being a relentless, suspenseful story that flew by. There's a very realistic feeling to the film, to the point that at times it seems documentary-like. Yet, I am still shocked to learn so many of the characters, all of which were highly memorable (Lil' Z, Knockout Ned, Benny) were based on actual people. What a ride from start to finish.
